Technology Use
Parents / Guardians sign a Technology Use Agreement on behalf of their child(ren) each year when students are enrolled at Clear Vista. This allows students access to school computers/devices. This agreement sets out the restrictions and guidelines for the appropriate use of technology while at school on either personal or school devices.
Cell Phones
Clear Vistas' cell phone policy was developed in accordance with WRPS's Administrative Procedure 141: Cell Phones and Electronic Devices.
Students may not have personal cell phones, Smart devices (such as Smart Watches, etc). cameras or recording devices in instructional areas, locker rooms, washrooms unless approved by the principal. Personal devices brought to school shall be secured, on silent mode, and left in the student’s locker where lockers are available.
Students in grade 6 - 8 may check there phones for messages during transition times after recess and lunch. Students are not permitted to use their cell phones during recess or lunch time.
Cameras
Unless it is a public event, such as a game or concert, we will not allow anyone to take photographs within our building, or on school property, without appropriate consent.
This applies to cell phones, iPods, Nintendo DS’s etc… as well.
Occasionally, students may use school-owned digital cameras for classroom projects.
